JC Carter’s Foundation, Inc. is led by Jarquez Carter, a four-star defensive lineman whose journey from Newberry High School in Florida to the collegiate level has shaped his passion for service, mentorship, and community impact. While Jarquez has earned national recognition for his athletic performance, including a standout high school career his vision extends far beyond the field.

As a student-athlete, Jarquez has experienced firsthand the discipline, structure, and life opportunities that sports can provide. That experience fuels his commitment to creating pathways for young people, especially those in underserved communities, to access the same types of opportunities that helped shape his development. His leadership of the Foundation is rooted in a desire to give back, serve as a positive role model, and use his platform to uplift youth through mentorship, education, and athletics.

Under his guidance, the organization has operated for approximately six years serving communities throughout Alachua County, with plans to expand its impact into Broward and surrounding counties. The Foundation focuses on providing support systems for youth and families through mentorship initiatives, future youth sports camps, and scholarship opportunities that promote both academic success and athletic growth.

Jarquez’s goal is not only to excel in his sport but to build a lasting legacy of service, one that empowers young people, strengthens communities, and demonstrates that success is measured by how much you give back.
